MIIDRI's objectives are:

 

To provide effective affordable comprehensive care for people with infectious diseases and immunologic disorders

To educate and train health professionals and the community to deal with infectious diseases and immunologic disorders

To support research using technological, social cultural tools to combat infectious diseases and immunologic disorders

To provide a forum for international collaboration

 
Tuberculosis Program:
 

MediCiti is a tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment center supported by the state government of Andhra Pradesh and is charged with implementation of the RNTCP guidelines.

Anti Retroviral Treatment Program

Primary objective:
-To provide 'first line' ART to PLWHAs fulfilling criteria for eligibility.
-To provide subsidy (to the tune of 50%) by means of local funds.

Secondary objectives:
-Ensure 100% adherence to therapy, by applying strict enrollment criteria and meticulous long term follow up

 

To become a center of excellence for care and support of PLWHAs.

To be a true 'one-stop-shop' for HIV /AIDS.(in terms of counseling, prevention of OIs, laboratory diagnosis, subsidized care and support, ICTC).

Incorporate HIV medicine as part of 'infectious disease fellowship' training.

To become a training center for HIV /AIDS for practicing physicians.
